@roygutierrez, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that you are unable to scan to your computer from your HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer.

Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Printer Does Not Scan

If the printer is on the network, then please follow the steps from the link: Network Scanner Connection is Lost (Windows)

Let me know how that works.
I hope you have a good day ahead.

I believe the problem is with the firewall/antivirus software. I have this issue, and use Bitdefender as my firewall and antivirus. When I disable the firewall, then it scans just like it should. I still don't have a solution from Bitdefender, but I believe that's where the problem lies, based on that I can get it to work when disabling the firewall. If that's the same with you, you'll need to reach out to your firewall provider for a solution.

I don't think it is the firewall.  I have disabled the firewall and still won't scan or copy.  Printer works fine.
