HP Officejet Pro 8600 scanner does not work with Mac OS Sonoma 14.0.  Please HP keep up with Mac updates.  When will you offer the drivers to fix this?????

My question remains: When will HP provide a driver for my 8610 which will work well with Sonoma 14?

Everything was working well with macOS version 13 but after installing version 14 the scanning feature would not work. In my opinion, version 14 has been out for a while now and HP is lagging behind in proving the workable driver.

In the forum, many, many other folks are having the same issue.

 I ask an HP employee to please answer the above question.

This doesn't fix my problem since I have a MacOS Sonoma 14 version and HP doesn't have the Sonoma 14 drivers.

I am sorry to hear that the above steps did not help much.

 

Follow the steps from this link to install Mac built-in driver and let me know if that fixes the issue as a work around for now.
