We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

How to scan? On my old dead HP Photosmart 6520, I can use the printer control pane to scan my document or paper then my printer send the scan picture to my computer to scan. But on my new HP Officejet Pro 8025, I cannot use the printer itself to scan my paper or document without running into the error message below. What I did is put my document or paper onto the scanner glass then scan then select my computer then select pdf or jpeg then send then wait after preparing to scan to done.
Scan unsuccesful
One or more of the following problems has prevented the scan from being completed:
The connection to the computer has been lost
The scan application on the computer is currently in use
An OCR application is not installed on the computer. Check the computer for more information.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues scanning from the printer.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
