My HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium will print and copy BUT it will not scan. When i try to scan to computer, it says there is "No Computer Found." My scanner is connected via wifi. The printer still works. I even tried connecting through a USB chord, but I recieved the same "No Computer Found" prompt.
I went onto the HP Printer Assistant > Manage Scan to Computer. The first time it said that there were too many computers connected to the scanner but when i tried to open the list of connected computers, the list was blank.
I tried rebooting both the printer and computer. It did not work. I tried reconnecting to the wifi but it still would not scan. Though again, the printer does work.
I went on this message board and found others with a similar problem. It was recommended that I uninstall the printer drivers and reinstall, which I did but the problem still persists.
Please advise. Thanks!
