When coping from the glass my copier only copies half of the page. When coping from the feeder it is leaving one side of my page off. I have only had this a couple of weeks and not sure what to do. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Hello @mburr, and welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see you're having copy output issues.  I would love to try and help you, but I do need a little information first. I am linking a few HP Support documents below that will show you how to find which operating system you are using. Also, if you're using Windows, please include whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit.

Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
Which Windows operating system am I running?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?

In the meantime, I'd recommend performing a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.

Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting steps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!

Hi! @Ducky13, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand when copying from the flatbed it copies only 1/4 of the page. But when you copy using the ADF it printer correctly.

Don't worry I will try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Try scanning from the flatbed and check if the issue persist.

Please try the steps recommended below.

Clean the scanner glass and underside of the scanner lid with a soft, lint-free cloth sprayed with glass cleaner.
Turn the printer off, then disconnect the power cord.
Lift the scanner lid.
Spray a soft, lint-free cloth with glass cleaner, then wipe the scanner glass, glass strip (if present), the white backing under the scanner lid, and the white strip under the lid (if present) until clean, dry, and streak-free.
To protect the interior printer parts, do not spray the cleaner directly on the glass or on the underside of the lid.
Reconnect the power cord, turn on the printer, then close the scanner lid completely.
Load the original document or photo, then try to copy. Make sure the original document or photo is in good condition and free of tears, creases, folds, staples, or tape.

Refer this article to further troubleshoot copy quality issue with your printer.

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps, it is a hardware issue with the flatbed scanner. Please contact HP support for service options.

Let me know if this helps!

Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂
