I've had problems the last few months with my printer going into Offline Mode. I've been able to fix before but NOW I seem to not be able to scan. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, downloaded drives and have had professional IT support by two different techs. From what I've read it may be an incompatibility with recent Windows 10 updates. Can this be fixed or do I need to purchase a different brand all in one printer? Thanks for any help you can give.

@DebraKW, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to scan. To assist you better, which app are you using to scan?

Do you get any errors?

 

Try using HP Scan and Capture app from the Microsoft Store and check if that helps.

 

Alternatively, use the HP Scan Extended app to scan and check if that helps.

You can Download-Save-Install > HP Scan Extended  

Download, save and install to use.
