I'll just to arrange a suitable funeral for it then.  Shame as it was a great camera!!  Thanks for your help.

I bought this camera way back in the 90's and it has performed well until recently. Now it won't switch on!! Naturally I have changed the batteries and used both rechargeable and 'ordinary' batteries but to no avail. I've tried a new memory card but still no joy. Any ideas? Or is there somewhere I can send it for repair perhaps? - Pete

Thanks for the info.  It does seemed from the description that the camera has "breathe it's last".

 

Don't think HP supports this camera anymore so don't think we can be of much help here.
