HP Scan application is unable to open your email application (outlook 356

I have a client that has to run outlook in admin mode in order for hp scan to have permissions to attache scanned pdfs into a new mail window. if outlook is not in admin mode, hp scan can not attach the file. ( yet if you close outlook and scan it works fine, but my client doesn't want to close outlook every time he uses hp scan) This client relies heavily on instant search.. is there  a reg edit or something i can enable to get HP scan to work without having to run outlook in admin mode?

This is how the scan to email feature works. The user has to be logged in as admin. A guest account may not work as required.

To make any changes to the settings, refer to How to Scan to Email document.
