HP Scan does not scan from the ADF. HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf.

HP Scan does not periodically scan from the ADF, although the documents are loaded, as indicated by the label on the printer panel. Scanning occurs from the glass.
In Windows there is a built-in program "Fax and Scan", in the settings of which you can explicitly scan from the ADF, and at the same time scanning is successful, always from the ADF.
The HP Scan program does not have an option - how to scan: the automatic document feeder or the glass.
Can you tell me how to make the printer always scan from the ADF using HP Scan?
HP Scan is included in the driver package and can scan to PDF.

The printer is connected to a network (not via USB). Earlier HP Scan worked on Windows XP, and there were no problems. Now a new PC on Windows 10, and this problem has appeared.

Can you try this:

HP Scan Extended

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Select "Source" to be "Use document feeder if loaded"

I assume that this program refers to the scanner on the ip address. But in the settings of the scanner I did not find where the ip address is given, I just found where it is set in the printer. But I have an MFP device: a scanner and a printer.

How do I make the HP Scan Extendend work with my device?

Since HP Scan Extended is not working, would suggest that you try the original software that comes with the printer:

Perform an Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software.

Original Full software I reinstalled. The included program HP SCan works, but it does not work correctly - it does not scan from the automatic document processor, it does not have a choice option: where to scan (either from the glass or from the automatic document feeder). However, if you install HP Scan Extended, HP Scan Extended does not scan at all.

I need to scan from the ADF to PDF format.
HP Scan Extended has the option of selecting: where to scan. But this program does not work.

So the original software works.  Were you able to scan from ADF using the original software previously?

Not sure if this printer supports Webscan, but worth a try:
