When scanning a pdf and sending via Outlook 356 the body of the mail ist not sent. The complete HP program suite is freshly installed, the office 356 as well.
Sending a word document as pdf is working well and includes the signature.
I read a hint regarding a different default data file and account in outlook, but the account is imap which has an ost-file. This ost file cannot be used as the default data file, so this solution is blocked.

Thank you for joining HP Community.
Please note: HP ePrint supports up to 10 attachments to a single email. Email messages, including all attachments, are limited to 5MB each. So, make sure the total file size is less than 5MB.
If the file size is less than 5MB and if it’s still not printing, try sending the attachment in a blank email. i.e leave the body of the email blank. That should help you print the attachments.
If the issue persists, try to assign a manual DNS to the printer as suggested below:
- Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to get the IP address.
- Type the IP address on your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
- Go to "Network" tab - General - Select "Network protocols" - Select "Enable IPv4 only" (or similar) - Apply the settings.
- Go to the “Network” tab – Click on “Wireless (802.11) – Then click on “Network address (IPv4)
- Click on the radio button which says “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.
- Click on radio button which says “Manual DNS Server” and under manual preferred type 8.8.8.8 and under manual alternate type 8.8.4.4 (This is Google DNS server address)
- Restart the printer and then router once done.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Hi,
unfortunately that did not work. The scan is succesfuly transferd to the computer, so the connection of the printer ist not the problem. When continuing with the mail with attachement inside outlook there is some problem, so that the body of the mail is not sent, although the same steps inside Word 365 with PDF through Outlook do send the mail with PDF-Attachement and mail body.

This might require remote access of the computer to fix this issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
I hope that helps.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
Cheers.
