Yes it is normal that it takes about 12 to 14 hours to download.....

I´ve done it over the night, so i could work further on it the next morning.

 

And remember to first upgrade the FW of the JetDirect card as next step and after that, update the FW of the scanner itself with an USB-stick. (The "small" one, about 120MB!)

After that, it is possible that you get some 49.0x.xx errors.

Don´t worry about that. Just hit the restart button for about 5-6 times.

Then it would be come up without errors and works stable.

updated to the latest version available on the site but only ta giving error 49.38.03 .
Already I restarted 10 times

Mabe you need a new HDD in this case....

I replaced the hdd and it worked , stopped giving the error 49.xxx .
But there's a problem he has no option to configure network ip .
In his screen the symbol of the network is with a red line .
You could tell me how do I enable the network , I spent the last firmware available.

Yes I am using the latest firmware , but I managed to solve the problem.
I entered the Administrator menu and the installation options and let all force all.
When restarted rose good .

With the help from this forum i was able to recover about 10 devices from 'death'.

And it will be lots more in the future.

Dear brothers,

 

 

i try to upload full firmware to the scanjet 7000n which is (1.5GB) file and it took more than 4 hours and still not complete using ncat tools.

It takes about 12 to 14 hours.
Just be patient.
