HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer

I regularly scan things on my HP ENVY Photo 7155 printer through the HP Smart App.  (I have a MacBook Pro and the operating system I have doesn't appear in the dropdown menu (it's macOS Sonoma 14.2.1).   A month or two ago, my HP Smart App's appearance changed (I presumed it was auto-updated, because I didn't do anything to my knowledge to change it).  The HP Smart homepage looked the same, but when I clicked on the Scan window, it brought me to a very different looking scan-window that functioned differently.  The problem I'm having is it won't seem to permit me to scan the length of the full glass.  The dropdown window for "Page Size" on the scan window does not give "Entire glass" as an option . . . "Letter" is the biggest one.   But it doesn't even give me letter sized length!!!  It now scans a maximum of 10.3" whereas prior to this app update I was able to scan the full 11.75" of glass. I routinely scan things bigger than 10.3" and I would very much like this to function the same as it did before the app updated.  What can I do to fix this?   Thanks!

Also: the scan window on the app appears to encompass all 11.75" of glass, and I can drag the customization borders all the way down - but it's only scanning the top 10.3" . . . good grief - I at least need 11" so I can scan normal 8.5"x11" documents!!!  PLEASE HELP!!!

UPDATE:  Ok . . . I just figured something out:  The bug/problem apparently only affects the PREVIEW display - the scanner much to my surprise ultimately scanned the whole area.  In other words, the preview function shows absolutely nothing below about 10.3", even if you have the preview borders set longer.  I never bothered scanning something larger than the preview screen permitted - but I just experimented and low and behold, it may not show up on preview, but it does actually scan all the way down.

So now my problem is much less serious, but still . . . is there any way I can see below 10.3" on the preview screen?
