When I use HP Smart scan then want to share emailing takes about ten minutes.

Might be a few things...

Part of tracking down the source of the issue is noting "where" the processing is slowing down.

For example, if the process is hanging before the mail opens to let you finish the message / add recipient - this is different from the process accepting the mail setup > clicking Send > and then having to wait between the time you "send" the mail and when that mail is received.

Ideas / Add these to your checklist...

If the process is hanging before the message setup is completed...

The "Sender" address have been added to the Windows Mail application.

The general rules regarding "two-step" verification at the email provider's security apply.

That means, Set your email security (at your email provider) to use an Apps Password OR set the security to "Less Secure".

If the mail setup actually terminates suddenly (definitely different from "slow" mail),

Check / Open Windows Mail > Check for a draft copy of the stuck mail > open and send on its way.

What else?

The sender address must be able to connect and be used within Windows Mail.

Open Windows Mail and check the setup - make sure you can manually set up and email a message / attachment.

If the process is hanging after the message setup is completed...

You might not have a lot of control over this side of the operation.

Might just take a while for the mail to get to its destination...

You can try opening your email using the usual methods to open the mail at your provider's website or within the installed email software.  Check to see, for example, if there are process errors, if the mail is stuck in Spam / Junk, or if (as might happen in Outlook), the server is simply not set to "immediately" check for or respond to incoming mail.
