There is not a proper category for problems with the actual HP Smart App, so I chose scanning, faxing and copying. I am not having printer problems, I am having problems with the HP Smart App. Each time I click on the app, it tries to load and then goes back to the Home Screen. I have deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times. It works for a short time, then will no longer load. This does this on both my iPads (pros). It works fine on my iPhone, MacBook Pro and Windows computer. The problem is specifically on my iPads. I have ample memory. I have hard reset. Checked settings, etc. Cannot find the source of the problems. It seems to have started after the iOS 15 update. Seems to be a glitch in the program?? Does anyone else have this issue or have a solution? Thanks.

Hi @JoAm1,
I'd like to help!
I understand you are facing issues with HP Smart.
Try the below suggestions -
- Try updating mac and printer firmware
To update the printer's firmware, refer - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
To update ios, try these steps -Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Uninstall the HP Smart
- Restart your ipad
- then reinstall the app from the app store.
If the issue persists, Print from your Apple device
Print documents, photos, and web pages from iPhone and iPad apps with a print feature.
Make sure the printer is turned on, cartridges are installed, and the paper you want to print on is loaded in the correct paper tray.
Open the item you want to print, and then tap the Share icon (
or
).
Tap Print or the Print icon
.
Select your printer, and then change print settings such as paper size, number of copies, or page range. Available settings depend on the app you are printing from, the print job type, and your printer.
Tap Print.
