- HP Smart Not Letting Me Change Connected Account

HP Smart required me to login to use it today. As a result, I ended up creating an account to do so. Once I never got the verification email, I noticed that I had a typo in my email address. Also, the phone number I gave was my landline. It did not say during setup that I needed to provide a mobile number. So, I cannot do SMS verification either. It turns out that I already had an account under my actual email address. This is something it would have probably told me at setup, had I not had a typo in the email address I provided.
Now, I cannot use HP Smart. It will not let me disconnect the unverified account to put in my actual account.
I have tried Reseting all of the app's data under the Add or Remove Programs -> Advanced Features. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing seems to work. Is there some data file I need to delete to reset this program to let me login and use it?
Thank you.
Sofia

This is likely beyond any assistance the Community can offer.
Once the HP Smart / HP Connected account is messed up, repairing the account requires access not available to "non-HP" people.
That said,
The issue can be sorted...
