HP Smart Program not allowing editing to scanned images & online help... doesn't!

hey yes i am facing same problem now. cant do any edit or add pages to scan pages.

indeed i could not do as well. ended up scanning nightmare. not sure if i will be recommending anyone now on. i am so disappointed with such a blunder.

Also, request you to mention your product details with Operating systems installed.

Hi i got HP 2700 all in 1. Last week it was okay. But since 2 days, I can't add  pages or edit rotate etc. I have re installed also downloaded the firmware from one of your post. Have you got anything else ?

Dear support team. You keep asking the same things to everybody instead of focusing on the problem. We are a user not a technician or software developer. If everybody asking about the same problem, you need to make a check and see what the problem is. We have paid money for these printers/scanners and unable to scan documents. Immediately sole the problem or refund our money back. I spent hours and though I didn't manage to do the scan until I see this topic. Many people have the same problem.

1) Windows 10 operating system

2) HP Deskjet 1514 printer model

3) HP Smart application on the desktop doesn't allow us to crop files and save them.

4) I have uninstalled and re-installed again the application.

Hi all.

A temporary solution I found is the app below.  This one will let me scan multiple pages individually using the scanner glass.  I can crop and rotate and save as a PDF. The only thing i cannot do is adjust the contrast, brightness, etc.  Or if i can, i haven't figured out how yet.  It's called HP Scan and Capture.  Hope this helps you all.  I'd much rather use the HP Smart app, but this will do for now.

Have a OfficeJet Pro 9010.

Unable to edit scans and photos. As for scans, some pages are rotated and others are not, even though all pages were fed in the same direction. And editing those pages which are upside down does not change them.

As for photos, when trying to crop an image, and clicking on "Done" the image is as before.

Printer and Windows are all updated with latest patches and firmware.

It's already 2021 and mine still has this issue. I badly need it for school works. Scanning takes more time than doing the actual school work smh
