Hi!

We got a new MFP printer called HP Enterprise MFP M430.

Printings, scanning (at the device) is working.

But not at HP Smart app. Message: "It cannot print right now" appears

When i switch to another one (M283), everything is working.
Both printer are configured at our print server. And bot are created with PCL6 driver.

 

Any idea, why the new one dont want to scan via HP Smart ?

How do you scan?

M430 is an enterprise device it's not mended to scan with software.

I tried HP Smart.

Cause it´s a nice and easy scan application for Windows.

My user prefered it.

But when its not possible with Enterprise printers (weird anyway), then we will live with that.


The scan function at the printer itself is working great.

Enterprise printer supports scanning from a printer itself, not software scanning from a computer.

Disappointed.
So i need to buy a cheap printer to scan from a computer. LOL.

 

But anyway, thanks for the enlightenment.

Haha.

It´s a MFC. He can scan perfect.

But only from the device. Not from Windows or Mac.
