Product: HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I've been having difficulty operating the Scanner portion of my HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer.  It will print things OK but when I try to scan it keeps saying it's unable to connect to the scanner even after repeated installments.  This is extremely frustrating as I need to utilize a scanner for various activities.  Will I have to somehow accumulate funds to purchase a new all in one printer altogether?

  1. How is the printer connected to the device USB or wireless?
  2. Are you able to make copies using the printer?
  3. What application are you using to scan, HP Smart or HP Easy Scan?
