HP Smart will not allow me to scan without logging in, but will not allow me to log in. The Virtual Assistant is useless and offers no workable solutions. There is nothing wrong with the hardware. I need to speak to a human being about this.

I see that you are facing connectivity issues with HP Printer.
I suggest you reinstall the driver and connect the printer to check if that fixes the issue.
You can follow the steps under this link to uninstall.
