I read the previous solution to the HP Smart app scan issue. My scanner worked fine until today. The printer is same as it was last week when the scanning was working. The resolution presented on this website iss dated 2019. That was 5 years ago. Has the situation with the HP Smart program not connecting to the scanner on the HP 2652 printer changed? This printer was set up about 2 or 3 years ago and has worked with scanning ever since; there have been no known changes to either the printer or the use of the HP Smart app. I have tried a number of suggestions presented by HP or the program itself. So far none work. Before I use a solution dated 2019, I want to be sure there are no updated solutions first; it appears complicated.
