I understand you're experiencing an issue with launching HP smart app on your windows 11 device.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.
Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Check for Updates:
- Make sure Windows 11 is up to date. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.
Run as Administrator:
- Right-click on the HP Smart app and select Run as administrator to see if that helps.
Check Task Manager:
- Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and see if HP Smart is running in the background. If it is, try ending the task and then reopening the app.
Reset HP Smart:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find HP Smart, click on it, and select Advanced options. Then, choose Reset.
Reinstall with Cleanup:
- Uninstall the printer software by following the steps from this link and restart the devices.
- Install the printer software by clicking on the link again and let me know if that resolves the issue.
Note: Enable Bluetooth for an HP Smart app setup: Enable Bluetooth on your computer or mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.
Check Firewall/Antivirus:
- Sometimes, security software can block apps. Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus to see if HP Smart launches.
