HP Solution Center not working: Adobe Flash Player Error and no matching software to print on CD

I have an All-in-one photosmart C309a printer, scanner and fax. Mostly, it USED to print on printable CDs and DVDs,

now this feature is totally unavailable because of HP using Flash Player for their softwares.

I have tried to run E-printer, that also does not allow cd printing. What the hell.

I have called HP support of course, was told that technical support "doesn't know IF e-printer software can fire CD prints or not"  😐 -(((

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall flash player and also a flash player 2022 simulator. Nothing seems to work.

Could anyone please help?

I like this printer. There is no point I should throw it out of the window because of HP not providing a valid alternative to making the software run!

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Try this Solution:

1. Download only this file: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
2. Close all programs

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the msi.

OPTIONAL:

Add HP Scan Extended shortcut to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start
• Open File Explorer > Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Scan Extended\bin
• Right-Click on "HPScan.exe" > Select Pin to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start

Hey there! Thank you for your help. I have a Q: will this solution get the printer original software back to work? Or is this a DIFFERENT application to operate the printer?

do you know if this can let my printer printable cds?

No. This is not a replacement for the original software. Since the printer is too old. Here Set up your printer using the printer drivers that come built into Windows.  they learn more about it.

With "HPScanExt" they should be able to continue using the scanner.

Thank you Andre, I managed to get the Solution Center back to work (the original HP Software) with the precious help of a friend!
