Hello, @Mosheh
Thanks for the update & Glad to know that you were able to install using USB 🙂
Now, is the printer already connected to the wireless network? Check the wireless light - if the light is blinking, then the printer is not connected & if the light is on, steady then it is connected to the network.
If the printer is not connected or even if it is connected, follow the steps below:
- Click on Start - All programs
- Scroll down and find the folder which says Officejet 8610 - Open the folder.
- Select the option which says "Device setup and software".
- You will get an option to convert a USB connected printer to wireless - Choose the option and follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer wirelessly.
Let me know if that helps!
Cheers 🙂

Thank god you put that there Dvortex. It fixed my printer. I have an Officejet 6600 and I have spent the past couple days, at least 3-5 hours trying to get this fixed (breaks in-between).
YOU SAVED ME!! IT WORKS!!
I was so frustrated when I couldn't scan my schoolwork into the computer and kept coming up with the 'Can't connect' or 'Unreachable' error. Hate that Twain Scan issue. Kept going in that stupid loop issue. They need to fix that. But this...
This actually worked! Was sceptical at first, but it did work. Instead of the Basic Program you put for the Officeject 8610 printer, I got the Basic Program Software from the HP website. Installed the **bleep** thing, and guess what....
The BLOODY PRINTER LIVES!! It actually let me scan!!
Happy happy happy
Thanks for the help!
