Hi,

If any one can assist or point me in the right direction? Any help, greatly appreciated.

When using HP app to scan documents, my PC reboots.

HP app : 130.1.323.0

Printer WiFi connected.

Sequence:

press scan in app, document loads into printer (from auto feed or flatbead)

PC shuts down immediately (no 'shutting down' or blue screen)

printer still working, PC back up.

No scanned image.

This happens every time, nothing in Windows event logs.

Printing works well.

However, if I use  HP Scan and Capture, all is good.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Possible to check if the Windows 10 OS is updated?

Alternative solution - use the HP FULL software. Download and Install from this link:

apologies for the late reply, been busy with work 😞

Downloaded software, installed, last part, install from 'cd'

Choosing, install from web, then kicks of Microsoft store, which does cause the reboot issue.

No more reboots, many thanks.
