Hi having trouble with the HP scan dekstop application. Every since the windows 11 upgrade the scanner app no longer works from the desktop. I can print fine and use the printer screen itself to scan. Our end users can no longer use the HP scan desktop application.  It errors out and says the scanner is not available. Please assist.

What I have tried:

-reinstall printer drivers, remove old drivers

-update firmware on printer

-update desktop and latest bios

-restart the WIA service

-tried via IP and USB attached

-tried a different usb port

-tried on three separate computers 

-tried print scan doctor (no issues)

-tried HP smart (cannot see the scanner)

-restarted spooler service

-sfc check
