I wish I bought a Brother printer. But I but an HP one, namely the M125nw, so I am always fighting against software that HP is not able to write.

 

I have the M125NW that I bought for its W suffix, i.e., because it is a network printer and scanner with WiFi. When I first installed it I had to connect it with a USB cable, installation of the "full drivers" was ok.

 

Now, everytime I open HP Scan, it fails with an error dialog saying that it did not detect the "HP LJ M125126", that works fine over WiFi for printing.

 

1) How am I supposed to install this printer to use it for scanning and printing over wifi?

 

I have installed the software HP Smart n my Android phone and I can print wirelessly. However, when I try and scan a document using my Android phone, the app just says "Failed" and nothing else.

 

2) What am I supposed to do to scan a document using my Android phone? Is there any way to hear something more than "Failed"?

 

 

3) I could not post this message for an error. Your site said "Correct the highlighted errors and try again.".

 

But NOTHING was highlighted. Please hire some computer scientist for your software development.

M125 is an old model and not supported in WIN11, you will hardly get all the functions to work.
