Product: DELL XPS 8930
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP479 hooked up to small home network.  Using the Scan to Computer from the printer's control panel brings up the Windows Fax and Scan app on my PC instead of HP software.    It then forces me to use the Windows software.  How to get PC to use the HP software? 

Win 10 Pro, I9-9900, 64 GB RAM

There isn't an option for scan or fax in the list of defaults by App.
