Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan

The all-in-one printer displays that there is a paper jam in the Automatic Document Feeder but there isn't any. I removed the sheet that caused the problem, but the error message persists. I've gone through all the debugging steps provided by the automated support system. How can I clear the error? Everything else works including scanning from the scanner glass. Just the automatic document feeder doesn't work now.

Hello,

Sometimes a paper jam error persists even though there is no jammed paper (false paper jam). Reset the printer, which might clear a false paper jam error, and then try to print again.

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  3. Wait 60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

If the issue still persists, then the issue could be because of the Media Sensor which is not accessible easily. If you are techie then check out the video ( URL mentioned below ) that should help you, else the printer need to be serviced.
