When I try to scan documents to a USB Drive it does not put all pages in one file. It makes multiple pages instead of one file for all pages
Does anyone have a fix
The printer is an HP9130e All-In-One Printer

@Ultra04, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP9130e All-In-One Printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like your HP 9130e All-In-One Printer is scanning each page as a separate file instead of combining them into a single document. Here are some steps to fix this:
Adjust Scan Settings on Printer
- On your printer's control panel, go to Scan > Scan to USB.
- Look for an option like File Type or Save Format.
- Ensure the file format is set to PDF (Multi-page) instead of JPEG or PNG.
- If there is an option for Combine into single file, enable it.
- Try scanning again.
Use HP Smart or HP Scan Software
If the printer does not have an option to combine pages:
- Download and install the HP Smart app or HP Scan software on your PC.
- Open the software and select Scan.
- Choose Save as PDF and ensure Combine all pages into one file is checked.
- Scan the pages and save them as a single file to your USB drive.
Manually Merge Files (If Needed)
If your printer only scans individual pages:
- Transfer the scanned pages to your computer.
- Use a tool like Adobe Acrobat, HP Smart, or an online PDF merger to combine them into a single file.
Let me know if you need further assistance! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Accepted Solution. Thanks so much Zoey for providing the helpful instructions to overcome this extremely frustrating problem. I have a different (probably much Older) HP All-in-One model, but I was able to use your instructions to find a way to combine my scans into a single file instead of one file per page, Thanks again.
