How can I change the scan profile for the "scan to computer" option from the printers screen so that it will scan the entire flatbed and recognize edges.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

The Scan to COmputer remembers the last Scan settings done from the Scan software. Hence, it would require a scan job with the Scan software to select "Entire Scan area"  first, then the Scan to computer will work as needed.
