Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I haven't had this issue until recently but now every time I make a 1200 DPI photograph scan they are saving at 96 DPI. The scan function seems to take the correct amount of time for such a high resolution but I'm not sure why the saved image is not reflecting this. I've tried to reset the printer, cleaned the glass, etc. and nothing seems to work. Is there a way to resolve this outside of MS paint?

Using the scan shortcut you can set up a custom scan command with the correct dpi.
