How To scan a US-LEGAL document with HP ENVY Pro 6455 ?

Unfortunately,

The printer does not support scanning at this size.

 

"Legal" (8.5 x 14 inches)

 

 Product Specifications for the HP ENVY Pro 6455 All-in-One Printer (5SE45A)

and

Scan Size Maximum (ADF, Imperial)8.5 x 11.7 in
Scan Size Maximum (ADF,metric)215.9 x 297 mm
Scan Size Maximum (flatbed, imperial)8.5 x 11.7 in
Scan Size Maximum (flatbed, metric)215.9 x 297mm

 

If you are desperate to have "something", you could scan the page in two pieces as an image and then edit the two images into one final image.  Obviously, less than ideal.
