Hi @Shy_1978

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

To clean your HP DeskJet 3755 printer and improve scan and copy quality, follow these steps:

1. Power Off and Unplug:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source to ensure safety while cleaning.

2. Clean the Scanner Glass:

  • Use a Lint-Free Cloth: Dampen a lint-free cloth with a little glass cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.
  • Wipe the Glass: Carefully wipe the scanner glass where the documents are placed. Make sure to remove any fingerprints, dust, or smudges.
  • Check the Lid: Don’t forget to clean the white strip on the lid that reflects the light during scanning.

3. Clean the Printhead and Ink Cartridges:

  • Access the Ink Cartridges: Open the printer to access the ink cartridges.
  • Remove the Cartridges: Carefully remove the cartridges from the printer.
  • Clean the Contacts: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly moistened with distilled water to gently clean the contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer where the cartridges sit.
  • Reinstall Cartridges: Once dry, reinsert the cartridges.

4. Clear Paper Path:

  • Check for Paper Dust: Inspect the paper path for any paper dust or debris. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the rollers if needed. Be gentle to avoid damaging any components.

5. Check for Software Updates:

  • Sometimes, poor print quality can be related to software issues. Make sure your printer firmware is up to date by checking the HP website.

6. Run Printer Maintenance:

  • After cleaning, run a printer maintenance check if available. This can often be done through the printer's settings or HP Smart app.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
