How can I darken the print on a document I am copying?

I would like to darken the print on a document I am copying.  How can I do this?

Welcome to the HP Community --

You can adjust the Copy settings your printer has Copy settings to lighten or darken the copied content.

Many printers do have this ability; nearly as many others do not --

Those printers that do not have extra Copy features might not have those settings because the printer does not have a full touchscreen Printer Control Panel.

Copy settings are dependent on the printer model, in other words.

In general, if you don't see it, it's not there.

If you cannot impact lighten or darken the content using Copy,

Use Scan - Optionally Edit the scanned content to Adjust the color (or Black / White) parts of the scan.

Save or Print the scanned content.

The tools (apps and software) you use to scan also depends on the Printer Model AND on the Operating System / version you are running on your device (computer, tablet, phone).
