How can I make scan to email work from my HP MFP 4302 using office 365 professional with MFA

It won't work; whatever online support I try. Frustrating.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301, 4302, 4303 - Set up and Scan to Email  

Be aware that many email providers require added security to access their email servers.

"Scan to Email" counts as a "third party software" that tries to access a provider's email services.

The general fix for this is to log into your email provider's website > Open the Security settings > Enable 2-Step Verification > Create an App Password -- The App Password (make note of it when creating) is then used in place of your email login password when setting up the Scan to Email profile.
