To scan multiple pages and merge them into one document using an HP Deskjet 4152e printer, follow these steps:

Using HP Smart App

Install HP Smart App:

  • If you don't already have it, download and install the HP Smart app from the HP website or your device’s app store (available for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android).

Set Up Your Printer:

  • Open the HP Smart app and set up your printer if you haven’t done so already. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to your network and add it to the app.

Initiate Scan:

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Select your printer if it’s not already selected.
  • Click on the "Scan" tile on the home screen of the app.

Scan the First Page:

  • Place the first page you want to scan on the scanner glass.
  • Adjust scan settings if necessary (e.g., resolution, color).
  • Click "Scan".

Add Additional Pages:

  • After the first page is scanned, you will see a preview.
  • Click on the "+" icon or the option that says "Add Pages" or similar to scan additional pages.
  • Place the next page on the scanner glass and click "Scan" again.
  • Repeat this process for all the pages you want to include in the document.

Save the Document:

  • Once all pages are scanned, click "Save" or "Save as PDF".
  • Choose the location where you want to save the document and provide a file name.

Using HP Scan Software (Windows)

Install HP Scan Software:

  • Ensure you have the HP Scan software installed. You can download it from the HP website if it’s not already installed.

Open HP Scan:

  • Search for “HP Scan” in the Windows search bar and open it.

Initiate Scan:

  • Click on "Scan" and select "Document to File" or similar options.

Scan the First Page:

  • Place the first page on the scanner glass.
  • Click "Scan".

Add Additional Pages:

  • After the first page is scanned, you will have an option to "Add pages" or "Scan more pages".
  • Place the next page on the scanner and click the appropriate button to scan it.
  • Repeat until all pages are scanned.

Save the Document:

  • Once you’ve scanned all the pages, click "Finish" or "Save".
  • Choose the file format (e.g., PDF) and save the document to your desired location.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
