Hi,

My son has just had his DBS (criminal record check) Certificate come though which i would like to scan to a PDF file for him, however the size of paper is unusual it is 209mm x 404mm.

is there any way to scan this with the office jet Pro 9020?

The maximum scanning size is 215x297mm ( 215x335 for ADF) you will not be able to scan a document that is bigger than that.

You can scan in 2 halfs of the document and then use editing software to adjust and merge 2 scans into one but that is complicated.

I would recommend you to go to the nearest print shop they probably have a bigger professional device that can scan big documents.

You may also try using the HP Smart app from your mobile device by selecting Camera Scan and use your device camera to capture the certificate and check if the results may sufficient for you, else indeed the best suggestion would be a nearby print shop, your printer is not capable of scanning such a size.
