HP smart cannot find the destination folders.  I can choose where to send it just like it automatically going to this order number sequentially.

OK - Using HP Smart for Windows.

Destination folders are not working - application cannot save to selected Destination.

I may not understand the meaning of the second sentence.

Answer

It is probable the application is working as designed.

• As long as the file name is unique, the numbering is not necessarily sequential.
• The application does not number files / assign file names as might other scan software - this is normal behavior.

Selecting Scan > then Share

Example

HP_Smart_W10_Share_Destination_1

OR

Select Scan > then Save

Opens File Explorer

Select Folder
