I tired just pulling it out when it was done copying. Then when I put the flash drive in my laptop, Windows says there are errors on it now after having it in the printer that have to be fixed?

Have you tried with different flash drives?

 

I recommend you try with different flash drivers and let me know.

I tried with 2 different flash drives by just pulling it out after waiting for a while. One of them, I did this several times. Each time, windows then said they had errors that had to be fixed.

I tried that, but unfortunately it says there is no new firmware and that I am up to date. Not sure if its related, but I also had issues trying to scan to email. Some pages might get sent but sometimes it was blank or adobe could not open a pdf file claiming it was formatted wrong or was corrupted. With a multipage document, the entire document could be blank? Sometimes a single page went through fine, but over all was unreliable.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
