We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

To enable the scanner function of your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 on a new computer without a disk drive, you'll need to install the necessary software and drivers digitally. Here's how you can set it up:

Steps to Enable Scanning

Download HP Easy Start:

  • Visit 123.hp.com to download HP Easy Start, which will guide you through the installation of full software and drivers for your printer.
  • Run the downloaded HP Easy Start file and follow the instructions on your screen.

Install Full Software and Drivers:

  • During setup, choose the option for Full Software and Drivers. This includes HP Printer Assistant and HP Scan, which are essential for scanning functions.
  • Continue following the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete.

Enable the Scan to Computer Setting:

  • In Windows, search and open HP Printer Assistant by typing your printer's name.
  • Navigate to Print, Scan & Fax > Scan.
  • Click on Manage Scan to computer and then click Enable.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
