HP Office Jet 8740
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new HP OfficeJet 8740 replacing an 8500 series.  On my old office jet I could scan at 600 or even 1200.  On the 8740 the scan drop down box maximizes at 300 dpi.  How can I increase the dpi of the scan?

The video makes the explanation easier to understand.  With the older printer I had, I did not have to set up the desktop scan option.  Thank you for your assistance.
