Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

How do I scan a bunch of papers to a TEXT-SEARCHABLE PDF file, as is required by all the US courts.

 

I am able to create a image-PDF fle, also a PDF/A (Archive), however see no option for a text-searchable PDF.

Is there a software download or an addon OCR card to be put in to the HP LaserJet M527M network printer

Hi,

A such is not supported by your printer, searchable PDF is only supported by HP LaserJet Enterprise flow MFP printers as listed on page 105 of its user guide:

You may scan to PDF from the software, then use a 3rd aprty software for a such.

 

Naps2 is a free scan software which allow a such:

https://www.naps2.com/

 

From the 3rd party software you may create a Searchable PDF file:

https://www.naps2.com/doc-ocr.html
