Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I need to scan multiple pages to be saved as one PDF file. How can I do this without having to save each page individually?

Make sure Separate file for each scanned page is .... unchecked.

Unfortunately, the HP Photosmart C3180 does not have an option for checking or unchecking "separate file for each scanned page." I found the box, but it is not active, nor could I find any way to make it active.

Scanning issues…

Please try this scan solution:
 
HP Scan Extended

For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Make searchable PDF scans with this free scanning software -   https://www.naps2.com/

 Thank you for your response. I tried it, but it did not solve the problem. I finally resorted to downloading a new driver for the HP Photosmart C3180; that solved the problem.
