Product: HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One series
Operating System: iOS

I have a HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One series printer.  I did not receive any software with this product.  I want to scan to my iPad.  When I try, I get the message, ‘no computer connected ‘.  The online handbook describes how to use the software.  What can I do to direct the scan to my iPad?

Hi,

You may scan using the HP Smart app, you cannot initiate a scan from the printer front panel to a mobile device, only to a computer:
