I scanned multiple photos and saved them as documents in the HP Smart app because I wasn’t ready to share them via text yet.  I went back to share them but the app is only giving me the option to move the files to a folder within the app.  I can’t figure out how to save them to my camera roll or text or email them.

Hi @Abby136,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To share files that you've scanned and saved in the HP Smart app on your iPhone, you may need to follow these steps.

  • Open the HP Smart app on your iPhone.
  • Navigate to the document you want to share. This should be under the "Documents" or "Scans" section of the app.
  • Once you've located the document, tap on it to open it.
  • Look for an option such as "Share" or "Export". This is usually represented by an icon that looks like a square with an arrow pointing upward or outward. It may be located at the bottom of the screen or in a menu accessed by tapping on three dots or a similar icon.
• Tap on the "Share" or "Export" option. This should bring up a menu with various sharing options.
  • From the sharing menu, you should be able to choose how you want to share the document. This may include options such as email, messaging apps, or saving to your iPhone's camera roll.
  • Select the desired sharing option and follow the prompts to complete the sharing process.

If you can't find a direct option to share the document, you may try saving it to your iPhone's camera roll first and then sharing it from there:

  • Follow steps 1-4 above to open the document you want to share.
  • Look for an option to save the document to your iPhone's camera roll. This may be labeled as "Save to Photos" or something similar.
  • Once the document is saved to your camera roll, open the Photos app on your iPhone.
  • Locate the saved document in your camera roll and tap on it to open it.
  • From the options menu (usually represented by a square with an arrow pointing upward), select the option to share the document.
  • Choose the desired sharing option from the menu and follow the prompts to complete the sharing process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
