HP support helped (I did what he told me to) get my two computers ON LINE. It was a very involved(I think) process but it worked out well--- except that now I have the question mark on the screen all the time. It tells me that Wi-Fi is OFF . Thanks for the help.

greenturtle: Thank you. Of course, you are correct. I should have known that since this printer is not "brand new". Maybe I'm paranoid now - I have had a lot of trouble with this printer- it is a replacement unit for one with the essentially the same problems. Your tech service guys, of course, were able to fix it each time ( once it took over five hours) but I see it happening again. But that is another story and right now, since the question mark problem is not a problem, I am extremely happy with anotherr HP product.
