How do you scan and send copy by email ! All I get is to fax , don’t want to fax I want to send copy

Ok I do a scan and want to send copy to an email address! How as all I see to send is a fax and no way to send copy by email! ???

I believe a device running a supported version of iOS, plus a supported printer, and with the printer / device on the same network, might normally support using HP Smart > Scan > Scan Documents / Photos > Mail (instead of "Save")
