How do you scan from the document feeder on top of the HP OfficeJet 3830? It beeps when I insert the document, but it will only scan from the glass one page at a time regardless of what output option I pick. Please help if you scan as I need to scan multi-page documents often.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Are you using the HP FULL featured software? If you're not, we'd recommend that you download and install the HP FULL featured software.
The following resource will help you :
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
Once it's installed, start the HP Printer Assistant and select "Scan", under "Source", ensure that it's "USe Document feeder if loaded", then scan.
These resources (Examples) will be usefull:
Scanning Multiple pages using the ADF and Scan Glass

Hope that helps!
