How to add the scanner app to your desktop

Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 - I just got this new laptop and I'm trying to get the HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 Scanner App back on my Desktop, but I don't know how to do it

• Visit the Microsoft Store on your Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3.
• Search for "HP Smart" in the store and download the app.

Install the App:

• Once downloaded, install the HP Smart app by following the on-screen instructions.

Set Up the Printer:

• Open the HP Smart app and follow the steps to set up your HP OfficeJet Pro 8028. Make sure your printer is turned on and connected to the same network as your laptop.

Add Shortcut to Desktop:

• After installation, locate HP Smart app in the Start menu.
• Right-click on the HP Smart app and select "More" > "Pin to taskbar" or "Pin to Start" for quick access.
• If you prefer a desktop shortcut, drag the HP Smart icon from the Start menu to your desktop.

Use the Scanning Feature:

• Open the HP Smart app, select your printer, and navigate to the scanning feature to start using your scanner.
