Thank you for joining HP Forums.
This is a great place to get support, find answers to your technical queries.
I understand that you are trying to change the email ID in a scan to email, don't worry I'll be glad to assist you.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Have you tried changing the email?
Do you see any error message?
However, let's follow the below steps.
Change the HP ePrint email address on your HP Connected account to one that is easier to remember.
NOTE:
If you turned off Web Services, restored the printer to factory settings, or performed a printer reset, you must turn on Web Services again to receive a new printer claim code and a new printer email address.
-
Go to HP Connected, and then sign in to your account.
-
Find the printer you want to modify, and then click Change Settings.
-
Under ePrint Settings, click the tab with your printer's current email address.
-
Type a new HP ePrint email address in the text box, and then click Submit.
-
If the address you typed is available, the address updates immediately.
-
If the address you typed is not available, try a different address, and then click Submit.
-
-
Inform any allowed senders of the new HP ePrint email address.

Thanks for the reply,
To scan a document or photo to email from HP printer software (Windows)
- Load the original print side down on the right front corner of the scanner glass.
- Open the HP printer software. For more information, see Open the HP printer software (Windows) on page 15.
- In the printer software, under Print & Scan, click Scan, and then click Scan a Document or Photo.
- Under Scan Shortcuts, select Email as PDF or Email as JPEG and then click Scan.
- Enter the email address
